Boscoso Italian Restaurant - Palm Springs, California

707 North Palm Canyon Drive - A simple little mid-century building, the most interesting feature are the screens covering the windows and reflected above the awning.  We had dinner here one night and it was quite good.  The interior featured some fun modern accents as well.

Macy's - Columbus, Ohio

This former Macy's from 1968 is at Eastland Mall.  The two distinquishing features of this store are the mod canopies and the great blue glazed tile that covers the building.  This mall also featured a Lazarus department store.  When all of the Lazarus stores were changed to Macy's, the chain closed this location to use the newer structure that previously housed Lazarus.  I'm sure it's only a matter of time this older store gets demolished.

100 West Bay Street - This store front dates from 1927 and has some nice details.  It's located in what I guess would be called "downtown" Davenport, though "downtown" seems to consist mostly of empty lots.  I would assume that at one time there were more buildings here.

Colonial Photo & Hobby - Orlando, Florida

634 North Mills Avenue - Colonial Photo & Hobby is housed in what was originally a Publix Supermarket.  This streamline building is from 1948.
