Clyde Hotel - Miami Beach, Florida

1430 Ocean Drive -  Currently it seems that this 1941 Lawrence Murray Dixon hotel is part of Hilton Grand Vacation Suites.  There was no name on the hotel when I took these pictures in November of 2009.  Recent pictures of the building show it named Ocean Plaza.

122 West Forsyth Street - I believe Thornton Wheatley's was a clothing and dry goods store.

On The Road Again

Only a few day before I leave for Albuquerque, New Mexico for the National Roller Figure Skating Championships (my partner is a coach).  We are driving out and I hope to have a chance to photograph some buildings between here and there in some states which are currently unrepresented.  Sadly, on the way out we have to drive straight through so there will be very little opportunity to catch any sights but perhaps on the way back we'll be able to make a couple of slight detours.  I will be in Albuquerque for a week and have a number of locations already cataloged to check out.  Look for posts from exciting new locations soon.
