Gold's Department Store - Lincoln, Nebraska
1033 O Street - While Gold's no longer exists, their fabulous structure remains. The main building was built in 1924 with additions in 1929, 1947, and 1951. The original building was designed by the firm Davis and Wilson.

St. Cecilia Cathedral - Omaha, Nebraska
701 North 40th Street - Visible from great lengths, this hilltop cathedral lured me in with its towering power from afar. Designed by Thomas Rogers Kimball.
