Here are a few houses from the Gant Quarters neighborhood in Marietta.  This is a small representation of the homes here.  Many others have similar themes arranged in different combinations and there were some other looks not represented here.  All looked great.

Information I found said this home was built in 1998 but I believe it's incorrect and probably dates to the mid-70's like the others.

Theater - Marietta, Georgia

North Park Square - I'm guessing this Vitrolite faced building was at one time a theater.  I believe there was an eating establishment of some kind located there when I took these pictures in August 2009.

269 Lawrence Street

U.S. Post Office - Marietta, Georgia

257 Lawrence Street - I'm guessing this building was built in the late 50's or early 60's. The original post office became the public library in the early 60's and is now an art museum. Obviously the best feature of this structure is its great zigzag roofline.

Cobb County Offices - Marietta, Georgia

191 Lawrence Street - I love the front of this office building. The rest is only so so but the front is very interesting. I couldn't find any information on this structure but I would guess it was built in the late 50's or 60's. It now houses Cobb County government offices.

Kentucky Fried Chicken - Marietta, Georgia

12 Cobb Parkway NE - Caught sight of this while driving around and had to stop. It's super fun. The beak opens and closes and the googly eyes spin around. The rest of the building was typical KFC boring but the tower was great.
