215 North Lumpkin Street - Opened as the Elite Theater in 1935.  This photo is from the fall of 2009 just months after a fire had damaged the building.  It has since been renovated.

1230 Baxter Street - More fun block screens.  Though this building is owned by the hospital, it seemed as though it was either vacant or maybe only used for storage when I took these back in 2009.

Lamar Lewis Shoes - Athens, Georgia

131 East Clayton Street - A simple shoe store in downtown Athens, this facade presents a bold modern pattern. The entire store is almost frozen in time. Glancing in through the glass doors past the display windows, many things appear just as they must have in the 1960's.
