The Castle - Atlanta, Georgia

87 15th Street - This interesting building is currently on the market for $2.2 million.  Here's the description from the real estate listing - "Located in the heart of Midtown overlooking Atlanta's Arts Center Complex, the Castle is one of the city' s most architecturally unique buildings with stunning Midtown Atlanta views. Designed in 1910 by the acclaimed Ferdinand McMillan, the Castle is rich with history and has become a fixture within Atlanta's art community. This approximately 11,000 sq ft landmark building benefits from large open floor plans and enticing original architectural elements.

Nestled among the city' s most prominent skyscrapers along Midtown's Miracle Mile, this property is across 15th Street from the High Museum of Art and the Atlanta Symphony Hall, adjacent to the corner of Peachtree Street & 15th Street. Flexible SPI-4 zoning allows for a wide range of uses such as an art gallery, event facility, restaurant, nightclub"

The structure is very cool but in bad shape.  It would make a very interesting restaurant with it's great terraces, numerous rooms and many levels.  As you can see, the lower level is like a fortress leading up to the more decorative upper floors.
