2995 Lincoln Farm Road - There are two Lincoln historic sites in this general area. On the day I stopped at this one I was already halfway through day two of what was supposed to be a one day roadtrip (to many stops to take pictures) so I did not visit the other. This was a great diversion. It was a little off the path but worth it. It was quiet, beautiful and not terribly busy. Pop over to the
National Park Service site for more info on this destination. There is a visitor center that looks like it was probably built in the sixties, the 1911 Memorial Building housing a log cabin replica, the Sinking Spring, and the Nancy Lincoln Inn featuring displays and gifts for sale.
