Hollywood & Highland - Hollywood, California

6801 Hollywood Boulevard - Home of the Dolby Theatre (the Kodak Theatre when these pictures were taken), home of the Oscars, and a variety of dining and shopping options.  Opened in 2001.  The development is a mix of different styles dominated by recreations of some set pieces from the D.W. Griffith epic Intolerance.

    Wow. I didn't know about the name change. And this is my first time seeing pictures and learning of the D.W. Griffith connection. I wonder if people have ever protested its location for the Oscars because of that.

    I didn't know about the name change myself until I watched the Oscars this year. Had I thought ahead I could have has this post appear on that day.
