Nathan G. Moore Residence - Oak Park, Illinois

333 Forest Avenue - Originally built in 1895 in the Tudor style and then rebuilt in 1923 after fire damaged the home with some restyling to make it more Wright-ish (Wait, is that a word?  It is now!).

  1. This is kinda awesome. It looks like a strangely top-heavy fairytale cottage. The pre-modern FLW designs you have posted are bizarre - not yet fully exemplary of what we usually think about in his architecture, while failing to conform to the standards of whichever style he was working in at the time.

  2. Very well put. I love non-conformists.
