South Hill and 7th Street - Opened as the Pantages in 1920 and became the Warner Brothers in 1929.  Now home to a jewelry store.  Designed by B. Marcus Priteca.

Pantages Theatre, Hollywood, California

The Pantages Theatre is located at 6233 Hollywood Boulevard. It is a beautiful Art Deco theater that opened on June 4, 1930 and was designed by architect B. Marcus Priteca. These photos are from two separate trips to LA. Some are from October 2007 but most are from August 2008. These are all exterior shots. On the August 2008 trip I was lucky enough to attend a performance of Wicked at the Pantages. Interior photos from that trip will be posted next time.
