Capitol Avenue - The Georgia Department of History and Archives dates from 1965 and was designed by A. Thomas Bradbury. This building is certainly not everyone's taste. The monolithic cube rising from the top of the structure is brutal. I personally find it very interesting and the clean modern lines quite beautiful.
In a picture from the 60's that I came across, none of these trees existed making the building seem even more monumental.
