300 Capitol Avenue - I posted some photos of this great structure back in April of 2010 and after recently reading about the almost definite oncoming demise of it revisited my photos.  I then realized that I had some that I didn't post originally.

Georgia Judicial Building - Atlanta, Georgia

40 Capitol Square SW - Built in 1954 and designed by A. Thomas Bradbury.  I like the way this building seems to combine modern and traditional elements.

Georgia Department of History and Archives - Atlanta, Georgia

Capitol Avenue - The Georgia Department of History and Archives dates from 1965 and was designed by A. Thomas Bradbury.  This building is certainly not everyone's taste.  The monolithic cube rising from the top of the structure is brutal.  I personally find it very interesting and the clean modern lines quite beautiful.

 

In a picture from the 60's that I came across, none of these trees existed making the building seem even more monumental.
