Strand Theater - Kendallville, Indiana

221 South Main Street - The Strand Theater opened in 1890 as the Spencer Opera House and has undergone many renovations and name changes over the years. According to their website, http://www.cinemaassociates.com/Strand/history.HTML, the current facade was added in 1950.

  1. We had our wedding there in May of 2006! One of the coolest places in Kendallville! Made the front page of the newspaper.

  2. That's cool, Amanda. I think I've been inside years and years ago when I was a kid but I have no recollection what the interior is like (plus it may have changed since then). Seems like a fun place for a wedding.

  4. No idea, I know that it's still used as a first run movie theater.
